Do-Re-Mi

The past two years I have been able to sing in the Summer Chorus at Ball State University.

Last year was full of Latin and one Hebrew song. This year was more fun because it was all by English composers so...it was in English.
"One Hundred Fiftieth Psalm"
"Come To Me, My Love"
"Hark, I Hear The Harps Eternal"
"If Music Be The Food of Love"
"In Flanders Fields"
"Begin the Beguine"
"Stomp Your Foot"

A few rehearsal pictures....

I must say...if I had the "organ shoes" I bet I could play lots better!
Not very stylish, but they are supposed to help...
...well, help those who already know what they are doing!...

Here is a picture I had taken with my voice teacher...A friend of ours kept the boys(Thanks, Eleanor! The boys had fun!)
...so we are now back to a family of three here...

Morgan loves her mommy...and her mommy loves her!Shawn spent almost the entire concert outside. Morgan was a handful. Very fussy when I showed up, but as soon as she heard her Mommy's voice - well, she smiled and immediately calmed down...ahh...a momma's girl!

A little party after the concert...
I brought peanut butter cookies....to die for (if I must say so myself!)
A fun time was had by all....until next year...La - Ti - Do!

Wow, I wish I had a trained voice! If we ever move to Muncie, do you think you could teach me to sing? =)
