Taking Up Space

This house is *baby ready*....take a look at how 'he' is taking up space and 'he' isn't even here yet....!!!!

Daddy's Girl

Shawn has had the past couple of weeks off (and we have so enjoyed the family time). The other day Shawn was putting Morgan down for a nap and she said, "I want you to sleep with me." How could he say "No" to that?
Side Note: This happened again a couple days later....Daddy's little princess...smiles.

Packed and Waiting

Hopefully bagging each outfit individually - along with a pair of socks, underwear, and accessories - will help whoever might have the kids while I am in the hospital. I have a couple specific outfits I have chosen for them to use on certain days so I just labeled them.

Morgan has finally stopped asking about her pj's in the suitcase and saying stuff about going to the hospital. Poor thing - she is so excited and it's hard for little kids to understand time.

Waiting...due date tomorrow...hmm....we shall see!
As Steve Stetler used to always say, "Lord only knows - and He ain't tellin'!"

Baby: Coming Soon

My Mom went with me to a doctor's appointment this month and took care of Landon and Sarah Morgan in the waiting room. When I was finished, Morgan asked if they checked my belly. I told her they checked to see if the baby was okay. To which she quickly leaned over and placed her face less than an inch from my belly and said, "Are you okay in there, baby?"

Ethan is Seven

Since I am due to have a baby soon, we opted out of having family over for a birthday party and just have a couple of Ethan's cousins over to play, and of course, to help us eat cake and ice cream. Shawn was so sweet in suggesting that we could get a store bought cake, but that is something I like to do for the kids AND Ethan is so used to having themed birthday parties (my bad!) that he knew what he wanted for his cake. I asked him to draw what he wanted...he definitely gets some artistic ability from his Papaw Kuhn! So, before it was time for Ethan to see the cake, I was quite worried he would think it wasn't up to his perfection, but he loved it - *sigh of relief*.

Here are a couple of shots Ethan wanted to get on camera...

He is happy with his real bow and arrows from Daddy (and Mommy) and his target range downstairs. (Yes, he has to ask to use his bow and the other munchkins know where to stand.)
