Mommy, I want to help!

My boys love to help out in the kitchen. If they see me start to prepare something, look out. Here come the chairs over to the counter or their cute hands raised wanting up where they can see what is going to take place. They want to stir, dump, and taste whatever it is I am going to make. Yesterday, Landon decided he was going to try out the eggs and cheese I was scrambling in the pan.....the only bad thing....it wasn't yet cooked. Ugh! They do a pretty good job helping and of course and even better job eating the goodies we bake! I am just training them so one day I will be able to come home to a meal already prepared and something chocolate baking in the oven! (nah, not really...although I like the sound of that!)

Who's Carrying the Baby?

Hello, fellow bloggers! I so enjoy your posts that you display that it has me itching to start my own. For those of you that don't know, I am expecting my third child - a girl - around the first of February. This picture was taken the day I had planned to tell the family what the gender of the baby was. I felt so good about my "bump" since my husbands was so big! Shawn is exaggerating some! He isn't that big! :-) Although he has put on weight since our wedding five years ago, he is trying to shed some. So far he is doing well and has dropped 5 lbs. or so. Me.....well, I keep gaining! Imagine that!
